1. General Terms
By joining the AroundManchester.com™ Entertainers Directory, entertainers agree to these terms and conditions. AroundManchester.com™ is operated by Tsunagi Limited, registered in England & Wales (Company No. 16808727).
2. Eligibility
- Both sole traders and registered businesses may join the directory.
- Entertainers must be at least 18 years old or have appropriate guardian consent.
- All entertainment services must be legal in the United Kingdom.
- Services involving children must have appropriate DBS checks where required.
3. Insurance
- Strongly Recommended: Public liability insurance is highly recommended for all entertainers.
- Insured entertainers will receive a visible verification badge on their listing.
- Insurance status will be clearly displayed to help clients make informed decisions.
- Certain venues may require proof of insurance before booking—uninsured entertainers should note this.
4. Equipment & Safety
- Bouncy Castles & Inflatables: Must comply with PIPA (Pertexa Inflatable Play Accreditation) or equivalent standards.
- Fire Performers: Must have appropriate fire safety training and equipment.
- Electrical Equipment: Must be PAT tested where applicable.
- Entertainers are responsible for the safe operation of all equipment.
- Risk assessments should be available for high-risk activities.
5. Listing Information
- All information provided must be accurate and not misleading.
- Pricing must be clearly stated or marked as “contact for quote.”
- Photos and videos must represent current act/service offerings.
6. Bookings
- AroundManchester.com™ facilitates connections but does not manage bookings.
- All contracts are between the entertainer and client directly.
- Entertainers must respond to enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Cancellations and refund policies are at the entertainer’s discretion.
7. Content Guidelines
- Profile content must be appropriate for all ages viewing the directory.
- All age friendly details and content.
- No content promoting illegal activities or discrimination.
- AroundManchester.com™ reserves the right to edit or remove inappropriate content prior to publishing.
8. Testimonials
- Testimonials are provided by the entertainer and verified before publishing.
- Fake or misleading testimonials are prohibited.
- Testimonials that cannot be verified will not be listed.
9. Limitation of Liability
- AroundManchester.com™ acts as a directory platform only.
- We do not employ or represent any listed entertainers.
- We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or conduct of any entertainer.
- All disputes are between the entertainer and client.
- AroundManchester.com™ is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss arising from any entertainment service.
10. Data Protection
- Entertainer data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Contact details may be visible to potential clients.
- Client data obtained through enquiries must be handled in compliance with UK GDPR.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
