- Qualifications Required: Level 3+ fitness qualifications from recognized awarding bodies (CIMSPA, REPS, VTCT, City & Guilds, etc.) or equivalent; HCPC registration for physiotherapists
- First Aid: A current first aid certificate is required for all active instructors
- Professional Registration: Registration with appropriate professional bodies (CIMSPA, REPS, HCPC, CSP, BASES, AfN) is recommended and will be highlighted on your listing

1. General Terms
By joining the AroundManchester.com® Fitness & Wellness Directory, providers agree to these terms and conditions. AroundManchester.com® is operated by Tsunagi Limited, registered in England & Wales (Company No. 16808727).
2. Eligibility
- Sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies providing fitness and wellness services may join the directory.
- Providers must be at least 18 years old.
- All services offered must be legal in the United Kingdom.
- As a general rule, specialists must have been established in the fitness and wellness industry for several years, demonstrating experience and professional standing.
- Providers must submit a professional resume, portfolio, or biography detailing their experience, qualifications, and professional track record for vetting and approval.
- Fitness professionals must hold a minimum of Level 3 fitness qualification from a recognized UK awarding body including CIMSPA, REPS, City & Guilds, VTCT, or equivalent.
- Physiotherapists must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and ideally members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
- Nutritionists offering clinical dietary advice must hold an appropriate qualification and preferably be registered with the Association for Nutrition (AfN).
- Other wellness professionals (yoga instructors, sports coaches, etc.) should hold relevant, recognized qualifications from established professional bodies.
3. Insurance – MANDATORY
- Mandatory Requirement: Public liability insurance is mandatory for all fitness and wellness providers listed on the directory. Providers without valid insurance cannot be listed.
- Professional indemnity insurance is additionally mandatory for physiotherapists, nutritionists, and clinical practitioners.
- Insured providers will receive a visible verification badge on their listing.
- Insurance documentation must be provided upon request and kept current throughout the listing period.
- Lapsed or expired insurance will result in immediate removal from the directory until current coverage is provided.
4. Health & Safety
- All providers must comply with current health and safety regulations.
- Equipment must be regularly maintained and inspected.
- Client health screening (PAR-Q or equivalent) must be carried out before commencing training programmes.
- All active instructors must hold a current first aid certificate (minimum Emergency First Aid at Work).
- Venues must maintain appropriate fire safety and emergency procedures.
5. Professional Standards
- Providers must deliver services to the standard agreed with the client.
- Training programmes must be appropriate for the client’s fitness level and any disclosed medical conditions.
- Professional boundaries must be maintained at all times.
- Providers registered with professional bodies (REPs, CIMSPA, HCPC, CSP) must maintain their registration and comply with their codes of conduct.
6. Contracts & Payments
- AroundManchester.com® facilitates connections but does not manage contracts or payments.
- All contracts are between the provider and client directly.
- Membership terms, cancellation policies, and cooling-off periods must be clearly communicated.
- Payment terms must be transparent and agreed in advance.
- Providers are responsible for their own tax obligations including income tax, National Insurance, and VAT where applicable.
7. Listing Information
- All information provided must be accurate and not misleading.
- Pricing, membership options, and class schedules must be clearly stated or marked as “contact for details.”
- Qualifications and certifications listed must be genuine and current.
- Opening hours, locations, and availability must be kept up to date.
8. Content Guidelines
- Profile content must be appropriate for all ages viewing the directory.
- All age friendly details and content.
- No content promoting illegal substances, dangerous practices, or unrealistic results.
- AroundManchester.com® reserves the right to edit or remove inappropriate content prior to publishing.
9. Testimonials
- Testimonials are provided by the provider and verified before publishing.
- Fake or misleading testimonials are prohibited.
- Testimonials that cannot be verified will not be listed.
10. Limitation of Liability
- AroundManchester.com® acts as a directory platform only.
- We do not employ or represent any listed fitness and wellness providers.
- We are not responsible for the quality, conduct, or outcome of any fitness or wellness service engagement.
- All disputes are between the provider and client.
- AroundManchester.com® is not liable for any injury, health issue, or financial loss arising from any fitness or wellness engagement.
11. Data Protection
- Provider data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Contact details may be visible to potential clients.
- Client health data obtained through screening or enquiries must be handled in compliance with UK GDPR and treated as special category data.
12. Founder Price Guarantee Clarification
- The AroundManchester.com® first 1,000 joiners lifetime pricing guarantee applies only to the main virtual tour directory service.
- AroundMCR coming-soon sections, including Fitness & Wellness, are not participating services in that lifetime pricing guarantee system.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
