1. General Terms
By joining the AroundManchester.com™ Pet Services Directory, providers agree to these terms and conditions. AroundManchester.com™ is operated by Tsunagi Limited, registered in England & Wales (Company No. 16808727).
2. Eligibility
- Sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies providing pet-related services may join the directory.
- Providers must be at least 18 years old.
- All services offered must be legal in the United Kingdom.
- Providers offering licensable animal activities (boarding, breeding, dog day care, selling animals, hiring horses, keeping or training for exhibition) must hold a valid local authority animal activity licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018.
- Veterinary practices must be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
3. Insurance
- Required: Public liability insurance is required for all pet service providers listed on the directory.
- Insured providers will receive a visible verification badge on their listing.
- Insurance documentation must be provided upon request and kept current.
- Providers are responsible for maintaining adequate cover for all services they offer.
4. Animal Welfare
- All providers must comply with the Animal Welfare Act 2006 and any subsequent amendments.
- Animals in care must be provided with a suitable environment, diet, and the ability to exhibit normal behaviour.
- Any suspected animal cruelty or neglect will result in immediate removal from the directory and reporting to the appropriate authorities.
- Providers must have documented emergency procedures for animals in their care.
5. Professional Standards
- Providers must deliver services to the standard agreed with the client.
- Clear communication regarding services, timings, and any issues is expected at all times.
- Providers must maintain a clean and safe environment for all animals.
- Qualifications and training must be genuine and current.
6. Contracts & Payments
- AroundManchester.com™ facilitates connections but does not manage contracts or payments.
- All contracts are between the provider and client directly.
- Providers are encouraged to use written agreements for all services.
- Payment terms must be transparent and communicated before services begin.
- Providers are responsible for their own tax obligations including income tax, National Insurance, and VAT where applicable.
7. Listing Information
- All information provided must be accurate and not misleading.
- Pricing must be clearly stated or marked as “contact for quote.”
- Service areas and availability must be kept up to date.
- Licence and insurance details must be current.
8. Content Guidelines
- Profile content must be appropriate for all ages viewing the directory.
- All age friendly details and content.
- No content promoting illegal activities or animal cruelty.
- AroundManchester.com™ reserves the right to edit or remove inappropriate content prior to publishing.
9. Testimonials
- Testimonials are provided by the provider and verified before publishing.
- Fake or misleading testimonials are prohibited.
- Testimonials that cannot be verified will not be listed.
10. Limitation of Liability
- AroundManchester.com™ acts as a directory platform only.
- We do not employ or represent any listed pet service providers.
- We are not responsible for the quality, conduct, or outcome of any pet service engagement.
- All disputes are between the provider and client.
- AroundManchester.com™ is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to any animal arising from any service engagement.
11. Data Protection

- Client data obtained through enquiries must be handled in compliance with UK GDPR.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
