1. General Terms
By joining the AroundManchester.com™ Wedding Services Directory, providers agree to these terms and conditions. AroundManchester.com™ is operated by Tsunagi Limited, registered in England & Wales (Company No. 16808727).
2. Eligibility
- Sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies providing wedding-related services may join the directory.
- Providers must be at least 18 years old.
- All services offered must be legal in the United Kingdom.
- A portfolio or demonstrable body of previous wedding work is required for listing approval.
- Caterers and food-related providers must hold a valid food hygiene certificate rated 4 or above.
3. Insurance
- Required: Public liability insurance is required for all wedding service providers listed on the directory.
- Insured providers will receive a visible verification badge on their listing.
- Insurance documentation must be provided upon request and kept current.
- Professional indemnity insurance is additionally recommended for planners, photographers, and videographers.
4. Professional Standards
- Providers must deliver services to the standard agreed with the client.
- Wedding dates and commitments are binding once confirmed in writing.
- Cancellation policies must be clearly communicated before booking.
- Providers must maintain professional communication at all times.
- Providers regulated by professional bodies must maintain their membership and comply with their codes of conduct.
5. Contracts & Payments
- AroundManchester.com™ facilitates connections but does not manage contracts or payments.
- All contracts are between the provider and client directly.
- Providers are strongly encouraged to use written contracts for all wedding bookings.
- Deposit and payment terms must be transparent and communicated before booking confirmation.
- Providers are responsible for their own tax obligations including income tax, National Insurance, and VAT where applicable.
6. Listing Information
- All information provided must be accurate and not misleading.
- Pricing and packages must be clearly stated or marked as “contact for quote.”
- Availability must be kept up to date to avoid double-booking.
- Portfolio images must be the provider’s own work or used with permission.
7. Content Guidelines
- Profile content must be appropriate for all ages viewing the directory.
- All age friendly details and content.
- No content promoting illegal activities or discrimination.
- AroundManchester.com™ reserves the right to edit or remove inappropriate content prior to publishing.
8. Testimonials
- Testimonials are provided by the provider and verified before publishing.
- Fake or misleading testimonials are prohibited.
- Testimonials that cannot be verified will not be listed.
